My family and I are staying at Royal Elysees in our first time in Paris. The hotel location is excellent in the middle of everything. The service both cleaning and the service desk are wonderful. The employees at the hotel are friendly and professional. I would recommend the hotel stay.

We traveled throughout Scotland, England, and France. We stayed 4 nights in Paris at the Hotel Royal Elysees. The location is excellent being mere steps away from the Arc de Triomphe. However, that was the only good about this hotel. They claim to be 4-stars. All lies. The room stunk of sewage, the furniture was broken (the desk had a leg broken off and the bed bowed like a canoe), the bathroom had mold/mildew in the shower, and the carpet was filthy and stained. The "free" breakfast was crap. Cold cereal, stale pastry, and a toaster. The tables and seats were filthy and sticky. For high price we paid for the room, I was disgusted & angry. Don't ever stay at this place, EVER! After lodging a complaint and showing photos supporting our statement, we were able to get a partial refund. Even with the refund, the stay was not worth it.
